Spring will be in full swing, and the Fresh Air Market will be the perfect event to bring out the family and enjoy the day. FAM attracts vendors from all over Alabama to showcase their work on the beautiful grounds of Chewacla State Park. The entire family can enjoy browsing everything from hand-crafted items and fine artwork to personalized gifts and jewelry. FAM will also be hosting a variety of outdoor sports vendors. These businesses will be demonstrating their products on Lake Chewacla and in the mountain bike training area. There will be a Kid's Zone area with inflatables, petting zoo, and pony rides, along with a variety of children's boutiques and accessory vendors. FAM will have lunch covered! Sample a savory taste from a variety of local food vendors.
The Fresh Air Market is a fundraising event for the Sheriff's Girls Ranch. The money raised will come solely from vendor fees, Boston Butt Plate Sales, and the Rubber Duck Race. Our guest will have to pay to enter the Chewacla State Park at its regular rate of $4 per adult, $2 Seniors or $2 per child. Vendors will enter free. This event is backed by the Auburn Opelika Tourism Bureau. The FAM event will be advertised on multiple radio stations, a billboard, newspapers, Parenting magazine, multiple Facebook pages, etc. For this time of year, the park will on average have 800 guests on Saturday and 500 guests on Sunday. This is not including the higher traffic for this event. This will be a great opportunity to promote your business and unique items to the public.
